Trace Tips
- Leave some blank space around the area to trace. If the pixels to trace touch the outer edge of the area, the outline of the area will be traced.
- It is possible to create drawings that are too complex to print. The higher the printer resolution, the less complex a drawing must be to print, due to limitations in the PostScript printer description language on which PageStream and most other programs are based. If a drawing is too complex to print, retrace the picture with the ''Lines Only'' option and/or with the ''Ignore Color'' option set to ''None''. Changing ''Precision'' to ''Loose'' can also reduce the complexity of a drawing if the ''Lines Only'' option is off. If this does not work, delete unnecessary points in PageStream or in a drawing program compatible with the IFF DR2D format.
